this makes me want to grow up and be on my own sooo bad. you guys have no idea but i am REALLY ready to finally get out of my parents house and go off to college. i want nothing for christmas but to be on my own and get out there in the real world. me and my friend were talking about this the other day and we are going to party our asses off lol.

but, it'll be fun. we'll get our stuff done but at the same time, we cannot wait to experience freedom.

it's gonna be great. i thought it was such a coincidence that i found this shoot because it kind of represents us lol.

okie dokie folks, now i have a question for ya...do you think that fashion ads, clothes, designers, etc...are just going a tad bit overkill on the dramatics?? email me and let me know.

in a way, i kind of think so. you know i always look to vogue russia for editorial stuff to post on my blog, but this one i found very interesting..maybe because i don't necessarily get the point.

i think they're trying to be too edgy and too theatrical, but it doesn't make me want to go out and buy the things that iris is wearing. i mean, yeah they're cool pictures but at the same time..just a little "too much."

from the hair, to the makeup, to the styling...idk..

the website i got this from described it as a cross between being a circus performer and a diva.

it's pretty sweet. i just didn't think it would still be around,...we'll see how long that trend continues to stay on the map. ummmm what else...oh yeah animal prints! go get you some. i really want this cheetah/leopard print hat from h&m but every time i go it's always sold out. :(

i like white...only because it makes me look super innocent lol, and i like the contrast it gives me on my skin.

but then again white looks good on a lot of other people too.

i like the softness that it has.

anyways, i am a frequent visitor of their online store so i was really pumped up when i saw the new advertising for their new winter line. HOW EXCITING!

whoa did i find some cool art for you guys!

okay, so i'm taking this painting class for school..

at first i didn't really like it all that much because i quickly realized that i am a waaayyy better drawer than i am a painter. but, i tried to stick it out and ya know what, i've gotten a whole hell of a lot better. let me tell ya lol. so anyways, i've been looking around for some cool, graphic, off the chain, colorful, eclectic, different, fun art and luckily i found it. so i've heard of francoise before but just never went into looking her up.

but, when i finally got around to it i was PLEASANTLY surprised. she's genius.

everything she paints is so bright and colorful. all of the portraits she does of people captivate their every emotion and inner spirit. i soon fell in love with nielly as soon as i saw this first painting that i put up.

i really want to try and do something in her style of painting. i love how the different colors overlap to contour and shape the face. everything is just so intense.

i want to go back to france just to try and find her lol.

i hope you enjoy her work as much as i do. she's really done a ton of neat stuff.
